RV College of Engineering – Eligibility Criteria

RVCE in Bangalore is well-known for its engineering courses. The college offers 12 specialisations in BE. The college also offers M.Tech and MCA programs. Students who want to apply for admission in RV College of Engineering need to meet the eligibility criteria and also clear the necessary entrance exams. Students applying for undergraduate programs need to clear the COMDEK or KCET exam. Graduate students who want to apply for admission to PG courses in RVCE need to clear the PGCET or GATE exam.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E Courses

The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for B.E in RV College of Engineering Bangalore are:

• Should have cleared 12th standard or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in both Mathematics and Physics separately
• Students must have appeared for KCET/COMEDK/JEE or any other national level entrance exams for joining the professional courses
• Admission allocation is as follows: 45% of students through Karnataka common entrance test, 25% Management quota, and 30% through COMEDK.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech Courses

The eligibility criteria for students who wish to apply for M.Tech admission in RV College of Engineering are:

• The interested candidate must have cleared B.E /B.Tech with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
• He/She must have cleared PGCET/GATE Exam with a valid score to get admission
• Admission allocation is as follows: 20% of students through PGCET/GATE and 80% through Management Quota

Eligibility Criteria for MCA Course

The essential eligibility criteria for students who wish to apply for MCA course in RVCE are:

• The graduates with specialisation in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Business Mathematics, Mathematics, Business Statistics can apply for MCA
• He/She must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in his/her UG Course to apply for MCA admission
• The aspirants must have a valid score in either PGCET or KMAT
