RV College of Engineering Admission 2024-25

RV College of Engineering was established in the year 1963. This is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). RV College of Engineering admission procedure depends on the course and the quota. There is Merit and Management quota available in RV College of Engineering. The college offers B.E, MCA and M.Tech Courses.

RV College of Engineering UG Admissions 2024-25: BE

RV College of Engineering offers 12 engineering courses. To apply for admission in B.E under the management quota, students need to meet the eligibility criteria. In order to be eligible for admission, the students should have appeared for common entrance examinations such as JEE, COMEDK OR KCET 2024. The seat allocation for the B.E courses is given below. In the total seats, 45% of the seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% are reserved for the private quota and the remaining 25% of seats are filled under the management quota.

  • UGCET Rank Sheet or COMEDK Rank Card
  • 10th and 12th Mark Sheets
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate if the student is from out of Karnataka,
  • Photocopy of student Aadhaar Card
  • Photocopy of PAN card of the parent
  • 3 sets of attested photocopies of above all documents
  • 2 Passport size and 1 Stamp size photos

RV College of Engineering PG Admissions 2024-25: M.Tech, MCA Courses

RVCE offers 15 M.Tech programs that correspond to 8 departments. Graduates who wish to apply for M.Tech admission here under the management quota should have passed B.E/B.Tech with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all subjects. The students should have appeared for PGCET/GATE Exam. 

For MCA admission at RV College of Engineering, graduates should fulfil the eligibility criteria. Also, they should have cleared KMAT or PGCET.

The seat allocation for the M.Tech and MCA courses is given below. In the total seats, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota and the remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.

RV College of Engineering is one of the best college in Bangalore. The faculties are very good. R V College has so much of best infrastructure, we can find innovation centre which might help students to implement their ideas. The college has very nice placements for all the department students.
