About the Courses Offered

Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Center, offer Ayurveda courses combining both UG and PG courses. B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) is the undergraduate program with a duration of 4 ½ years. Also known as the AYURVEDA ACHARYA course. M.D & M.S are the PG courses available with 7 different specializations such as Kayachikitsa Panchakarma, Dravyaguna, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, Shareera Kriya, Swasthavritta.

Eligibility for the Courses

Here at Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Centre Tumkur, the eligibility criteria for each of the UG and PG programs are based on the factors of age, marks in school board examinations, qualifying NEET score, and the subjects pursued. Regarding the minimum aggregate, the scores will vary depending on your social status and the background you come from Bangalore.

The candidate must have completed 10+2 or PUC or 12th with a minimum aggregate of 50% and should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.

He/She must have a score valid marks in NEET UG Exam

For students from Karnataka, belonging to the SC/ST category, the minimum aggregate required for admission is 45%.

M.D

The aspirant seeking admission must have obtained his/her Bachelor's degree from a recognized university from the relevant field of study is mandatory.

M.S

The candidate seeking admission for the surgery course must have completed his/her MBBS degree.
