ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Admissions for various medical and health sciences are opened at the institute. The B.Sc Nursing programme is only for female candidates and in the case of M.Sc (N), the candidates should mandatorily pick 2 specialisations for their nursing studies. The application will be selected based on the entrance test and interview conducted by the institute. Scanned documents of 10th and 12th mark statement certificate, N/RM certificate and diploma certificate, experience proof, etc. must be uploaded online during the virtual application procedure.

Admission Procedure for B.Sc Nursing

To pursue the Basic B.Sc Nursing degree course, students need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Students must have appeared for the CET Exam to get admission under the management quota as well. The total number of seats for the B.Sc Nursing Course is 60.

Seat Allotments - In Percentage

In the total intake of 60 students for the UG nursing course, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota. Remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Admission Procedure for B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic)

Nightingale Institute of Nursing, Bangalore offers the 2-years nursing course to the aspiring candidates. He/she must have passed Diploma Nursing or GNM after the 10+2 or equivalent exam.

Seat Allotments - In Percentage

The total number of intake for the for the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is 30 and the seat allocation details are given below. In the 30 seats, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota and the rest 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Admission Procedure for M.Sc Nursing

The aspirants seeking admission for the M.Sc course must have completed B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or other equivalent degree from a recognized institute or university. Work experience of minimum one year in a hospital or a Nursing educational institution is mandatory before applying for M.Sc Nursing. The total number of seats for the M.Sc Nursing Course is 20

The seat allocation for the M.Sc. Nursing courses are given below. In intake is 4students for each specialization and the total intake is 20 students for M.Sc Nursing. Out of the 20 seats, 20% are reserved for the government quota and remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Before you get an idea on the admission process of Nightingale Institute of Nursing Bangalore, here are a few standards points to note:

  • For the General Nursing and Midwifery program, the candidates from any group can apply.
  • Students who pursue M.Sc (N) must compulsorily pick 2 specialisations.
  • The candidate must be medically fit to apply for any course here.
  • A student’s age limit for the Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) course is 48 years old.
  • For General Nursing and Midwifery courses, the student must be between 17 to 35 years old.
