Admission Procedure for B.Arch

To apply for BMSCA admission in the undergraduate program, the candidate needs to meet the eligibility criteria. This college takes admission under government quota and private quota. Apart from these, there is admission under the management quota. The total number of seats available for the B.Arch UG Course is 120. In the total seats, 45% of the seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% are reserved for the private quota and the remaining 25% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Admission through CET

The candidate taking admission under government quota on the merit basis on the marks scored in Karnataka Common Entrance Test will undergo counselling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The selection will be done based on the current year ranking list published by KEA. 

Admission through COMEDK

The students seeking under COMEDK will be considered for the admission based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination like +2 or PUC and the marks scored in NATA Entrance Exam. The merit list will be prepared by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). There won't be separate examination conducted by the COMEDK for Architecture courses. 

The aspiring candidate seeking admission under this quota needs to register using his/her personal details and wait for the rank list or other announcements regarding the admission.

  • Admission Order issued by CET/COMEDK/Management
  • 10th and 12th std or PUC Marks Card
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate if the student is from out of Karnataka,
  • Validity Certificate (In case of Reserved category under CET quota)
  • 7 years study certificate in Karnataka (For CET Students)
  • Photocopy of the of CET fee challan (For CET students)
  • Photocopy of the Passport, Visa and letter from the Embassy (For NRI and students from other countries)

Admission Procedure for M.Arch

Students who want to apply for the Postgraduate need to meet the eligibility criteria. Students can take admission to M.Arch (Habitat Design) under the government quota and management quota. Students applying for the M.Arch degree course need to secure valid marks in the GATE examination.

The seat allocation for the M.Arch course is given below. In the total seats, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota and the remaining 80% of the seats are filled through the management quota.

Admission through PGCET

The candidate taking admission under the government quota must have valid score in the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test(PGCET). He/she must attend counselling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The selection will be done based on the marks scored in the PGCET Exam. The aspiring candidate with valid scores in the GATE Exam can apply for the admission under government quota.

Admission through Management Quota

The aspirants candidate taking who seek admission under the management quota, must have qualified in the GATE Exam or other equivalent exam that is recognized by the Government of Karnataka or VTU.
