Courses Offered

Course Eligibility

B.Arch

Candidates must pass 10+2 or PUC or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics from a recognized Board.

They need to secure valid marks in NATA or JEE Paper 2 and Common Entrance Test (CET) or COMEDK

M.Arch

Candidates must pass B.Arch from a recognized Institute or University and  qualify for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET)/GATE successfully

1. How many years does it take to study architecture at UG and PG levels?

It takes around 5 years to pursue architecture at the UG level and it will take 2 years to finish the same at the PG level. The UG degree consists of 10 semesters while the PG consists of 4 semesters.

 

2. What are the various facilities provided by RVCA?

The various facilities provided by RVCA include a high-tech computer lab with licensed software modules such as Autocad, Revit, an extensive library, a multipurpose hall, volleyball court, health centre, canteen, transportation, and hostel rooms and thesis exhibition.

 

3. Which entrance exam is required to be qualified to get admission to B.Arch at RVCA?

KCET, COMED-K, NATA, and/or JEE Paper-II are the entrance exams required to qualify for admission to the B.Arch program at RVCA.

 

4. What are the eligibility criteria for admission to M.Arch at RVCA?

You should have passed the prescribed qualifying examination in your B.Arch and must have obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% together in all the mandatory subjects. You should also have a valid GATE score for being eligible to apply for the program itself. Note that the eligibility criteria might vary for management quota and PGCET admission.
