RV College of Physiotherapy – Eligibility Criteria

RV College of Physiotherapy is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka. The candidate seeking admission in BPT or MPT course must qualify the eligibility criteria given the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

KCET (only for local candidates looking for Govt seats). Counselling is done by KEA. Outside Karnataka students cannot opt for Govt quota seats..

Course Eligibility

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

The aspiring student should secure a minimum of 50% marks in PUC or 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects along with English.
For SC/ST candidates belonging to Karnataka, the minimum percentage of marks is 45% in the qualifying subjects.
A candidate should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Medical Fitness Certificate from an authorized Government Medical Officer.

Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT)

 

The candidate should have completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy course from UGC recognized university and completed an internship before joining the course.
The aspirant must have secured a minimum of 50% in BPT from recognised board or university with a mandatory 6 months internship
