PES University Eligibility Criteria 2026: Who Can Apply?

PES University eligibility depends on two things: your marks in the qualifying examination and your entrance score. PES University offers admissions through recognised entrance exams for some programmes and through its own PES Entrance Process for others. As a private university, it insists on minimum eligibility criteria from a recognised board or recognised university, then uses the entrance test score to shortlist and rank applicants for the admission procedure.

You also pay an application fee during registration. The admissions portal lists a registration fee of ₹1200 for applications submitted in online mode.

UG Eligibility At PES University With Entrance Exams

• BTech (PES University Entrance Exam 2026 route not used here):

You need 60% aggregate in Physics, Maths and Chemistry in 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognised board. You must submit a valid JEE Main or KCET score for ranking.

• BArch:

You apply with NATA and your 12th standard marks as per norms, then attend university counselling. PES still requires portal registration even if you apply through NATA.

• Other UG programmes:

PES routes many UG admissions through the PES Entrance Process. You register online, book a slot, download the admit card, take the test, and follow the merit list and counselling steps posted on the portal.

PG Eligibility At PES University With Entrance Exams

PES University scholarships include MRD (50% tuition fee refund for top 5%), CNR Rao (40% refund for next 20%), and Distinction Awards (7.75+ SGPA). Campus life adds delightful spaces for studying, and the campus offers delightful spaces for daily studying, living and interaction. PES runs separate rules for post graduate admissions, but it keeps the same structure: eligibility check, test score, then interview or counselling where required.

• MBA:

You need at least 50% in a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. PES accepts PES Entrance Test, CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA (and also lists other tests on its MBA page).

• MCA:

PES lists MCA admissions under the PES Entrance Process. Its MCA campaign page also states an eligibility route through BCA or related computing degrees / BSc (Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10+2, with at least 50% in the qualifying examination.

• MTech:

PES indicates that GATE can apply for MTech admissions for relevant streams, along with university steps.
