In order to qualify for admission into this course, candidates must have passed Class 12 or a higher secondary level. Candidates must have at least 50% marks in their aggregate. Candidate's selection will be based on their merit. In addition, candidates should have at least one subject in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes must have at least 40% marks in Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university or the equivalent. For those with Master's degrees from overseas institutions, the degree must be accredited by a recognized organization or by a statutory authority in the applicant's home country. The candidate must have attained a minimum of fifty-five per cent in the Bachelor's degree and a five-point five CGPA in the Master's degree. Year-wise mark sheets must be uploaded to the online application.
