The Nitte Meenakshi Institute Of Technology placement is designed to help students secure the best career options. First, companies visit NMIT for placement. As per the company's criteria, the eligible students attend the interviews. The interview process involves aptitude and technical tests. Group discussions, personal and technical interviews and more. The companies then declare the shortlisted candidates within 3 days, and accordingly, jobs are offered. Each student gets the opportunity for 2 job placements.
The NMIT placements cell is an important feature of the institute. It is responsible for preparing students for the outside world by organizing various training sessions. Moreover, it coordinates with various organizations and helps them match the talents of the students with jobs. It also ensures that the students are ready for the interview process.
Apart from placement services, the placement cell also conducts pre-visits to different organizations to understand the working culture of the organization. These visits help the placement of cells to design training modules. Moreover, the placement cell also conducts workshops on soft skills, leadership qualities, and analytical abilities.
