BMS College of Engineering – Eligibility Criteria

BMS College of Engineering offers 14 undergraduate and 16 postgraduate courses. BMS College of Engineering eligibility criteria may vary according to the course.

The eligibility criteria for all the courses at BMS College of Engineering are mentioned below:

Course Eligibility

B.E

The candidate should secure a minimum of 50% marks in 12th or equivalent examination and should have appeared in the entrance tests like UGET/ COMEDK.

M.Tech

The Candidates must have passed B.E/B.Tech with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks n B.E/B.Tech/ B.Arch and should have appeared in PGCET/GATE/KMT/CMAT/MAT..

MBA

The aspirant must have a bachelor's degree with not less than 50% aggregate marks and for SC/ST category it is 45%. He /She should have appeared for anyone of the exams like PGCET/KMT/CMAT/MAT.

MCA

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Application or Programming or Business Mathematics or Statistics with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and for SC/ST category, it is 45%. He /She should have appeared for anyone of the exams like PGCET/KMT.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E

  • For BMS College of Engineering Admission, the candidates should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with anyone of the following subjects - Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics securing 50% aggregate marks. 
  • Candidates must take the COMEDK or and Karnataka CET entrance exam for BMS College of Engineering admission.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

  • Candidates should have passed under graduation or equivalent exam with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Programming/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics with 50% aggregate marks and appeared in KMAT or PGCET exam.

Eligibility Criteria for M. Tech.

  • The Candidates should have passed B.E/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% as an aggregate and appeared in any entrance examination such as GATE or PGCET of Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

  • The Candidates should have passed any recognized bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks and appeared in an entrance examination like CMAT/ KMAT/PGCET.
