Bangalore Institute of Technology – Eligibility Criteria

BIT offers 10 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate courses. The Bangalore Institute of Technology eligibility criteria may vary according to the course you want to enroll for admission.

Eligibility Criteria For B.E.

• Candidates must have completed two years of P.U.C./12th grade level studies from a Pre-University Board in Karnataka State or any other equivalent recognized by the Visvesvaraya Technology University.
• Must have obtained a minimum score of 45% in aggregate for Physics and Mathematics subjects, which are compulsory, as well as Chemistry/BioTechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics, which are optional subjects, in the qualifying examinations.

Eligibility Criteria For MCA

• Candidates must have completed a recognized Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Programming, Business Mathematics, or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects.

Eligibility Criteria For M.Tech

• Candidates should have at least completed and passed their Bachelor's Degree from Visvesvaraya Technology University or any other University that is equivalent and recognized by the Visvesvaraya Technology University with 50% aggregate marks.

Eligibility Criteria For MBA

• Candidates who have cleared a recognized Bachelor's Degree examination with a minimum duration of 3 years or equivalent and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% are eligible for admission to the full-time MBA course.
