Bangalore Institute Of Legal Studies (BILS) - Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates are required to have successfully completed the pre-university or Senior Secondary School Course ('+2') or its equivalent from a recognized university. If the candidate has studied from a foreign institution, it must be under the recognition of the Indian government.
  • Candidates can also have studied under the open school program.
  • The minimum score should not be less than 45.
  • The maximum age during admission should not be more than 20 for general category students and 22 for SC and ST candidates.

Course Eligibility

5 Year Integrated LLB Program

The candidate must pass the +2 exam in any stream with a minimum of 45% (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India. Incase of SC/ST the candidate must obtain 40% in aggregate.

The age limit for a General Category candidate is 20 years, whereas, for an SC,ST candidate, the age limit is 22 years.

2 Year LLM Program

Candidates who have passed Undergraduate degree LLB (3 or 5 year courses) with a minimum aggregate of 50% and above, from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC/AIU.

Incase of SC/ST the candidate must obtain 45% in aggregate.
